Asthma Calm Breathing Support
Asthma Calm Breathing Support
This session uses one central image throughout: breathing as a cool, clear river of sunlight.
Each easy breath is imagined travelling through the nose or mouth, along the throat and deep into the lungs, carrying freshness, calm and renewed confidence.
Feelings of restriction become clouds dispersing into blue sky or a distant shape gradually disappearing beyond the horizon.
The intention is not to make breathing another task to perform, but to move away from anxious effort and towards the quieter recognition that breathing ordinarily happens by itself.
Relaxation, clear air and lightness replace the fear and tension that can gather around respiratory sensations.
This asthma relaxation session supports calmer breathing and is designed to reduce anxiety linked to breath-related tension.
Concern about breathing can sometimes create a difficult cycle: attention narrows, the chest tightens and every sensation begins to feel more urgent.
The recording offers a calmer point of focus through deep relaxation, gentle breathing awareness and vivid imagery of cool air moving freely through the body.
As unnecessary tension begins to soften, the listener is encouraged to recover confidence in their ability to remain composed and respond clearly.
Listening is largely passive.
There is no need to force deeper breaths, control their rhythm or make anything happen.
This session is intended only as complementary relaxation support alongside prescribed medication and appropriate medical care.
It must not be used during an asthma attack or other acute breathing difficulty.
People often return to this track between episodes when they want to reduce anxiety around breathing, practise physical calm and re-establish a more reassuring relationship with their body.
